Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge 2017's first qualifier was held at the stunning Jumeirah Golf Estates, and the Greg Norman designed 7,480-yard Fire Course, on Thursday April 13th.
A strong field of 80 golfers competed in the qualifier, where first place was awarded to Sun Jin Hwang & Kwang Duk Jang (Team Hankook) with a solid 61.
2nd place was secured by Paul Abouchacra & Hisham Shammas (Team Under Par) carding 63.
3rd place went to Jan Hooftman & Ivan Fornazaric (Team Hytec International) posting 64 (on count back).

The Earth Course at the Jumeriah Golf Estates is a European Tour Destination. The Race to Dubai traverses four continents before culminating in the season-ending Championship at the Earth Course to crown European Tour’s Number One player. In the same light, the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge “ Race to Earth” will traverse the GCC, Middle East & Africa regions to crown the Number One amateur executive team at the Grand Finals at the same EARTH Course in December 2017”

2017's series has been coined as the ‘Race to Earth’, which will see qualifiers from across the MEA region compete in a 36-hole Grand Final at the prestigious Jumeirah Golf Estate’s Earth Course – venue of the climax of the European Tour's 'Race to Dubai' Championship.
Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge is open to amateur executive corporate teams of 2 players where both players must be fully employed and hold official handicaps.
